Bycatch and Illegal Fishing Simulator

Using sea turtles as a sentinel species, the ecosystem submodel is an individual-based model of sea turtle abundance in the South Pacific ocean. The simulator also includes agent-based submodels of group decision making by the following groups: (1) fishing boat crews; (2) fishing boat owners; (3) the fish farm business network; (4) Asian consumers of Indonesian-caught fish; and (5) American consumers of Indonesian-caught fish.
