The insurance firm has decided to focus on conserving tigers where they are most populous: India. Tigers are poached (killed) in that country and their body parts sold to mainly Chinese and American consumers. The firm reached this decision in-part because much of the trafficking in tiger parts is international wherein shipments originate in India and have final delivery locations in China and the United States. Such international trafficking gives the firm's fraud investigation department opportunities to gather intelligence on shipments and the criminals managing those shipments from many sources including the internet.
