A firm might assign one of their existing units to wildlife trafficking investigations. For example, many insurance companies operate an in-house special investigation unit whose sole purpose is to investigate insurance fraud. This project would consist of investigators in species-hosting countries; in countries that allow traffickers access to their transport facilities; and in countries where wildlife products are retailed.
